Despite recent safety recalls, Toyota models, including those from Scion and Lexus, remained among the most reliable and earned top scores in five vehicle categories.Additionally, Consumer Reports has reinstated its recommendation on eight different Toyota models. After the January recalls Consumer Reports suspended the recommendation for all Avalon, Camry, Corolla, Highlander, Matrix, RAV4, Sequoia, and Tundra models. Consumer Reports now gives each vehicle a recommended mark:
