Westboro Toyota Joins Toyota in Setting Sights on Future of Transportation

Happy New Year everyone! Now that 2012 is upon us, Westboro Toyota has got its sights set on the future. And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, as Toyota is poised to display the future of transportation at the upcoming North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). How cool!

A constant innovator, Toyota will unveil a new advanced plug-in hybrid concept vehicle called the NS4. And—drum roll please—it will also show off the new Prius c, which will be hitting the Westboro Toyota showroom floor very soon. Prius c is the fourth member of our beloved Prius family of hybrids, and its Prius brothers and sisters will be on display at NAIAS in the “Prius Family Zone.” Oh, and in case you didn't already hear, the Toyota Prius was named the best green car to buy for 2012!

Other innovative Toyota designs will be shown off, too—like the FCV-R, a fuel cell sedan concept vehicle (the R stands for reality and revolution) and the Fun Vii, which has been designed to give drivers the opportunity to connect wirelessly with the infrastructure and surrounding roads. These are just some of the technologies Toyota engineers are studying right now with the hope of bringing them to market in the next 10 years.

Those in attendance at NAIAS will also get the chance to experience Toyota’s renowned Star Safety System firsthand through Toyota’s interactive Safety Simulator exhibit.

This year at NAIAS, Toyota wants to drive home its vision as an automaker, Ruslan Polinsky of Toyota Motor Sales said. Fortunately, you don’t need to travel all the way Detriot, Michigan, to attend to NAIAS next week to check out Toyota’s innovative designs and feature for yourself. Stop by Westboro Toyota to see for yourself the all-new redesigned 2012 Toyota Camry, the 2012 Prius v, and a slew of other great new cars, trucks and SUVs!
