Why Westboro Toyota Recommends Getting Your Vehicle Serviced Regularly

Oil change, tire pressure check and rotation, brake test. The list goes on for a full 21 points and our 21-point inspection is something that every Toyota owner should get regularly.

Why? Your car, truck or SUV is an essential piece in the moving machine of your life. When your vehicle is out of commission due to an unexpected breakdown—which always seems to come at the worst possible moment, doesn’t it!—everything’s thrown into a tailspin.

Come into Westboro Toyota for regularly scheduled vehicle maintenance so our ASE and L1-certified (and in some cases L1-3 emissions certified) technicians have the opportunity to diagnose potential problems before they wreak havoc on your vehicle and your life.

Don't forget to read your vehicle’s owner’s manual. It gives valuable information on how often you should bring it in to be serviced.

Also, don’t ignore a check engine light when it goes on. It could be your vehicle simply reminding you that your Toyota is due for service, or it could be a signal that your vehicle needs to be checked out immediately. Don’t chance it. With Westboro Toyota’s easy-as-pie online scheduler you can zip into Westboro Toyota to get your vehicle checked out.

Also, by getting your vehicle serviced regularly—for example once every four-to-six months depending on how much you drive—you’ll ensure that your engine’s oil is in tip top shape. Think of the oil as the blood that pumps vigorous, peppy life into your Toyota’s engine. The healthier the blood the better your Toyota's heart will perform, and you can rest assured that this Central Massachusetts-based Toyota dealership stocks the oil that’s right for your Toyota.

And, in case you didn’t know: Newer Toyota models are transitioning to a synthetic lubrication standard (SAE 0W-20). This transition keeps Toyota ahead of the latest emission requirements for auto manufacturers. In addition to meeting emissions requirements, the shift to synthetic oils provides a number of benefits for Toyota drivers, including:

- improved fuel economy;

- less frequent oil changes;

- greater engine protection;

- maximized emission performance on cold start-ups; and

- more environmentally friendly recycling of waste oil.

And, perhaps the best part of going synthetic is that you only need to change your oil every 10,000 miles or 12 months, depending on operating conditions! (Keep in mind, we still recommend that you come in every 5,000 for other service maintenance, but we’ll get you in and out of here even quicker than usual—and we’re pretty quick and efficient overall!)

Want a few more reasons to regularly service your vehicle to ensure better performance and longer life:

• You’ll get a free $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card when you book your regularly scheduled factory maintenance online.

• Westboro Toyota offers competitive pricing on service and many discounts and deals for our valued customers. How does a 4 cyl. Quick filter oil change with FREE tire rotation and a 21-point inspection sound for just $34.95?

Founder & President Arthur Tonelli—the Sweetheart of Westboro Toyota—Featured in Worcester’s T&G!

In case you didn’t see it, last weekend the Worcester Telegram & Gazette featured Westboro Toyota’s founder, Arthur Tonelli, in its “Business Matters” section. Congratulations Arthur on your “One on One” profile in the Sunday T&G!

For those of you who don’t know, Arthur isn’t just the founder and president of Westboro Toyota, he’s a wonderful dad to sons Peter and Charlie Tonelli and uncle to nephew Rick Tonelli and great-nephew Jimmy Tonelli—all who are among our family-owned-and-operated dealership’s dozens of employees!

When Arthur opened the doors 40 years ago (first at Dudley Toyota in Dudley then at the old chicken farm he bought on Route 9 in Westboro and turned into our current location) he set out to build an automotive dealership that was resourceful, fair, convenient, up on the latest technology and committed to providing quality vehicles and service.

Thank you, Arthur, for setting the bar—which we continue to raise—high from the get go! Nowadays, customers get the same quick and hassle-free experience when they’re buying or leasing a new Toyota or certified pre-owned that they got when they bought a new Toyota from us back in 1971. We bet that if the Internet had been invented back then Arthur would have found a way to offer the live pricing our customers of today have come to know and love.

Our customers get service that’s as easy as pie, too. We’re open seven days a week and offer extended service hours, plus you can schedule your appointments online and get discounts on oil changes and more.

Arthur also shared with the T&G his “challenges” as an auto dealer. Fortunately, Arthur says, the challenges are few and far between: After all, our showroom and the lot outside are filled with some of the best-manufactured vehicles on the market, so that, he says, makes things pretty easy!

Arthur turned 90 in December 2011, and that milestone hasn’t slowed him down one bit: He still comes in six days a week. Stop by and say hi to Arthur and the rest of the Westboro Toyota family.

And, with it being Valentine’s Day, we think it’s apt to name Arthur Tonelli the sweetheart of Westboro Toyota. And speaking of good ‘ol Cupid, right now we’ve got some terrific sweetheart incentives to make your heart go aflutter.

Congrats again, Arthur, and Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

George Washington Would Be Proud of These B-Day Deals!

It’s that time of year again: Time to celebrate the birth of a man who led the 13 colonies to victory against Great Britain back in 1783, presided over the writing of the U.S. Constitution and became the first president of these great United States of America. What better way to celebrate Washington’s Birthday than with a sale of revolutionary proportions!

Right now, stop by to get in on the amazing deals we’ve put together for Westboro Toyota's 2012 Washington’s Birthday Sales Event. We’ve got deals galore on brand-new Camrys (both LE and hybrid models), Tacomas, Corollas, Highlanders, Priuses, Venzas, Yarises, Tundras, Avalons, 4Runners, Matrixes, Rav4s and Siennas.

You may recall from last week’s post on six reasons to lease a new vehicle that we looped you in several exceptional lease deals going on right now. But, like good ‘ol Georgie, we, too, cannot tell a lie! Yup, it’s true: There are so many other great leasing deals we’ve just got to tell you about, like:

• a brand-new 2012 Toyota Tundra double-cab 4X4 for just $349 a month and $1,999 due at signing or just $409 a month with $0 down (Model #8339, stk #35306);

• a brand-new 2012 Toyota Highlander 4x4 with third row for just $319 a month and #1,999 due at signing or just $379 a month with $0 down (model #6948, stk #35211);

• a brand-new 2012 Toyota Yaris L five-door hatchback for just $179 a month with $1,999 due at signing or just $239 a month with $0 down (model #1462, stk #34850); and

• a brand-new 2011 Toyota Avalon for just $349 a month and $1,999 due at signing or just $409 a month with $0 down (Model #3544, Stk #34504).

No need to cause a ruckus by throwing tea into Boston "Hahbah” either, because dealer fees and sales tax are rolled into the monthly payments on these leasing options. And you know what that means—more “GWs” in your wallet!

Six Reasons Why You Should Consider Leasing a New Vehicle from Westboro Toyota

If you’re in the market for a brand-new vehicle you’ve got options. You can purchase the vehicle or you can opt to lease it. The decision is one that is personal to you, but here are some things to consider if you’re thinking about giving leasing a shot.

1) Leasing in most cases means lower monthly payments, since you’re just paying for the months when you’re in possession of the vehicle. The result: a 30-60 percent lower monthly payment amount in many cases over what you would pay if you bought the vehicle, according to Leaseguide.com.

2) Right now Westboro Toyota’s Washington’s Birthday Sale is going on, and that means you can lease a brand-new Toyota car, truck or SUV with $0 down, and get zero maintenance fees and just 2.9% financing on many simply amazing models, like the 2012 Toyota Camry LE (payments just $259 a month with $0 down or a rock-bottom $199 a month with $1,999 due at signing, with sales tax and dealer fees included—Model #2532, Stk #34822).

Or, how about a brand-new 2012 Toyota Corolla LE, which you can drive away in for as little as $209 a month with $1,999 due at signing (Model #1838, Stk #35219).

Then, there’s the all-new 2012 Prius v Three, which gets 51/48 mpg. You can lease this extremely eco-friendly hybrid for just $369 a month with $1,999 due at signing (Model #1245, Stk #34888).

Check out the many other great leasing deals going on right now at Westboro Toyota, too!

3) Leasing is great if you always want the latest and greatest in new technology. Because lease customers generally keep their new leased vehicle for two to four years, they’re getting the chance to experience a brand-new Toyota every 24 to 48 months.

4) Generally, the lease term coincides with the manufacturer’s warranty, meaning that if something does go wrong with the vehicle the repairs will be likely be covered, so you have a lot less to worry about.

5) With little or no down payment due at signing, that means you’ve got more cash in your pocket. Plus, you may be able to lower your lease payment by trading in your old vehicle.

6) You don’t need to worry about what to do with the leased vehicle once the term is up. With a used car, many people feel saddled with the responsibility of deciding what to do—do they trade it in or sell it outright before buying a new car? When the lease term ends, you simply return the vehicle to the leasing company.
